Cargill Names new CFO
May 28, 2008 - Cargill announced its board of directors elected David MacLennan its chief financial officer, succeeding the late William Veazey, who passed away May 16. MacLennan joined Cargill in 1991 and has held several management and financial positions, including director and chief financial officer of Cargill Financial Services Corporation. He was the president of Cargill Petroleum from 2002 to 2004, and corporate vice president and director of Cargill International S.A., Geneva, Switzerland, from 2002 to 2005.Robert A. May 5, 2008 - Pilgrim’s Pride has promoted Robert A. Wright to chief operating officer. Wright previously served as executive vice president of sales and marketing. He succeeds J. March 31, 2008 - Pilgrim’s Pride Corporation has been named one of America’s “Most Admired Companies” by Fortune magazine for the sixth consecutive year. The company was ranked third overall in the food production industry for 2008, and was the highest-ranking protein company in this category. |
