The U.S. Poultry & Egg Association's industry partners collaborate to create an environment ideal for continued growth. Together, these organizations combine their resources to supply the industry with answers to industry challenges. Apart, these same organizations develop strategies to respond to their own concerns.


American Egg Board
Through the American Egg Board, egg producers fund and carry out proactive programs to increase the market for eggs, egg products, and spent fowl products. The board's work centers around promotion, research, and education.
Animal Agriculture Alliance
The Animal Agriculture Alliance is a positive and informed voice communicating reliable, science-based information on key agricultural topics ranging from animal welfare to biotechnology to environmental impacts.

Auburn University Biosystems Engineering Department
The U.S. Poultry & Egg Association allocates funding to support Auburn's poultry production education program on poultry house design, operation and management. The program develops a wide range of educational materials designed to help poultry producers make best use of modern technologies and house management techniques. Egg Nutrition Center
The Egg Nutrition Center was established in 1984 for the purpose of providing commercial egg producers and processors, health promotion agencies, and consumers with a resource for scientifically accurate information on egg nutrition and the role of eggs in the health and nutrition of the American diet. International HACCP Alliance
The International HACCP Alliance was formed in 1994 to provide a uniform program to assure safer meat and poultry products. The alliance promotes the adoption of HACCP throughout the industry and encourages better communication and cooperation with the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service and other governmental agencies worldwide.

National Chicken Council
The National Chicken Council is a full-service trade association that promotes and protects the interests of the chicken industry and is the industry's voice before Congress and federal agencies. NCC member companies include chicken producer/processors, poultry distributors, and allied industry firms. Visit the Web site here.

National Turkey Federation
The National Turkey Federation is the national advocate for all segments of the turkey industry, providing services and conducting activities which increase demand for its members' products by protecting and enhancing their ability to profitably provide wholesome, high-quality, nutritious products. Partnership for Food Safety Education
The Partnership for Food Safety Education is a not-for-profit organization that unites industry associations; professional societies in food science, nutrition and health; consumer groups; and the U.S. government to educate the public about safe food handling. PFSE is the creator and steward of the Fight BAC! ® campaign, a food safety initiative that educates consumers about the four simple practices (clean, separate, cook and chill) that can help reduce their risk of foodborne illness. Poultry Breeders of America
The Poultry Breeders of America serves the mutual interests of poultry breeders by exchanging information, conducting the National Breeders Roundtable, and representing the industry before government agencies. The organization includes the primary breeder companies that supply breeding stock for broiler, turkey, and commercial egg producers/processors. Through this organization, company geneticists share knowledge and ideas in order to maintain a progressive and dynamic poultry breeding segment of the industry.

U.S. Poultry & Egg Harold E. Ford Foundation
This foundation funds recruitment and retention efforts in major colleges and universities throughout the United States. The earnings accrued each year are divided among the eligible schools. The foundation also provides funds for poultry-related research. Visit the Web site here.

United Egg Producers United Egg Producers
The U.S. Poultry & Egg Association provided $25,000 toward the funding of a research project at Oklahoma State University and $25,000 toward the funding of a project at the University of Nebraska. The projects, being conducted for the United Egg Association, will acquire needed data on the pasteurization of liquid egg white. Visit the Web site here.
U.S. Poultry & Egg Export Council
The council facilitates the access, development, and expansion of international poultry and egg markets while maximizing the export volume and value of U.S. products. Visit the USAPEEC Web site.
