2026 USPOULTRY Feed Mill Management Seminar to Address Emerging Regulations, Technology and Operational Efficiency
The 2026 USPOULTRY Feed Mill Management Seminar will bring together feed manufacturing professionals, poultry industry leaders and technical experts for a focused program designed for managers, engineers and decision-makers across the poultry sector. The agenda addresses the most pressing operational, regulatory and technological challenges facing today’s feed mills, with an emphasis on practical strategies to improve efficiency, safety and compliance while preparing operations for the future. The seminar will be held March 19–20 at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Downtown in Nashville, Tenn.
Sessions will address regulatory updates affecting feed mill operations, safety and transportation; preventive and predictive maintenance best practices; and the use of artificial intelligence and data to support operational decision-making. The agenda also includes technical discussions on maximizing throughput with a focus on conditioners, steam and cooling strategy; seasonal equipment considerations; mycotoxin testing technology; and an interactive forum focused on equipment service challenges and solutions. “The Feed Mill Management Seminar is designed to be practical, relevant and forward-looking,” said Darrin Poole, manager of feed mill quality assurance for Wayne-Sanderson Farms and program committee chair. “By bringing together regulatory insight, operational best practices and emerging technologies, this program helps poultry feed mill professionals make informed decisions that support efficiency, safety and long-term success.”
With increasing regulatory oversight, evolving technology, and continued pressure to optimize production, effective feed mill management is critical to maintaining a reliable and cost-efficient poultry supply chain. This seminar provides attendees with actionable knowledge they can take back to their facilities, along with opportunities to exchange ideas and experiences with peers from across the industry.
The 2026 Feed Mill Management Seminar planning committee includes Darrin Poole, Wayne-Sanderson Farms and program committee chair; Larry Hooper, Aviagen Inc.; Trey Nelson, George’s Inc.; Hector Pacheco, Mountaire Corporation; Jessica Kenagy, Foster Farms; and Richard Obermeyer, Aviagen Inc.
