Through the American Egg Board, egg producers fund and carry out proactive programs to increase the market for eggs, egg products, and spent fowl products. The board's work centers around promotion, research, and education.

 The Animal Agriculture Alliance
The Animal Agriculture Alliance was created to replace the Animal Industry Foundation and to expand the scope of work to reach a broader audience with positive information about animal agriculture. Its mission is to support and promote animal agriculture practices that provide for farm animal well-being through sound science and public education.

 Auburn University Biosystems Engineering Department
The U.S. Poultry & Egg Association recently authorized funding to support Auburn's poultry production education program on poultry house design, operation and management. The program develops a wide range of educational materials designed to help poultry producers make best use of modern technologies and house management techniques. The program disseminates information via publications, videotapes, and a Web site. Go here to learn more.

 International HACCP Alliance
The International HACCP Alliance was formed in 1994 to provide a uniform program to assure safer meat and poultry products.
